Faith for the everyday
Paul closes the letter where most of our lives actually happen: at home, at work, and in ordinary conversations with our neighbors.
- At home (3:18–21): relationships reordered around Christ and marked by grace.
- At work (3:22–4:1): "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord" (v. 23).
- With outsiders (4:2–6): pray, walk wisely, and let your conversation be "full of grace, seasoned with salt."
The towering Christ of chapter 1 meets the Monday morning of chapter 3.
Take it home this week
- Where is God asking you to bring your faith into an "ordinary" part of life?
- Who is one neighbor you could pray for — and listen to — this week?
