Common questions

The questions people actually ask.

Can't find what you're looking for? Email hello@cedarridge.church and we'll answer it.

  • Is my gift tax-deductible?

Cedar Ridge Church is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. We send annual giving statements every January.

  • Where does my giving go?

Your giving funds three things: staff and ministry programming (Sundays, kids, youth, and groups), building and day-to-day operations, and our missions and community-care partners here in Glenwood and around the world.

  • Do I have to be a member to give?

Not at all. You're welcome to give whether you've been coming for years or this is your first Sunday. Giving is a response to grace, not a requirement for belonging.

  • How do I get a record of my giving?

We email annual giving statements every January. Need one sooner? Contact the church office at hello@cedarridge.church and we'll send you a summary.

Budget & financial accountability

Our books are reviewed annually by an outside CPA, the budget is voted on at the annual members' meeting, and any member can request the full financials at any time. We hold this trust seriously.
